A recent post on the CCAFS blog describes the implementation of a program on improving climate change adaptation and mitigation practices of farmers in Western Uganda. The aim of the program is to improve food security in the region through a series of interventions, which include, improved collective action for climate change, improved climate information services, introducing new crop varieties, and improved farming practices. With capacity strengthening as a running theme in the program, the article highlights how climate-smart practices increase farmers' climate resilience. The full post can be found here.
