The FtF NAPP team conducted a monitoring and evaluation training for the staff of Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria with the goal of increasing the participants capacity to effectively monitor and evaluate their projects/programs for improved project/programs effectiveness and efficiency November 2018 . The training walked participants through the basic concepts and principles of M&E, key stages of M&E system, developing M&E plan, concepts of M&E frame works, performance indicators, baselines and targets, managing performance data, data collection and presentation for decision making. The training had 4 male and 3 female participants.

- The Feed the Future (FtF) Nigeria Agricultural Policy Project (NAPP) team conducted a monitoring and evaluation trainings to the staff of Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) with the goal of increasing the participants capacity to effectively monitor and evaluate their projects/programs for improved project/programs effectiveness and efficiency in November and December 2019,. The training walked participants through the basic concepts and principles of M&E, key stages of M&E system, developing M&E plan, concepts of M&E frame works, performance indicators, baselines and targets, managing performance data, data collection and presentation for decision making. The training conducted in November had 15 male and 9 female and the one in December had 6 male and 21 female participants.

Through the year 2020, The FtF NAPP team conducted several a monitoring and evaluation training for with the goal of increasing the participants capacity to effectively monitor and evaluate their projects/programs for improved project/programs effectiveness and efficiency The trainings walked participants through the basic concepts and principles of M&E, key stages of M&E system, developing M&E plan, concepts of M&E frame works, performance indicators, baselines and targets, managing performance data, data collection and presentation for decision making. These trainings were conducted for:
- the staff of Ministry of Agriculture, Delta State: The training happened in January 2020 and had 21 male and 6 female participants.
- staff of Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development: The training happened in January 2020 and had 19 male and 6 female participants.
- staff of Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State: The training happened in January 2020 and had 16 male and 7 female participants.
- staff of Delta State University, Asaba, Delta State: The training happened in January 2020 and had 10 male and 7 female participants.
- staff of Agricultural Council of Nigeria: The training happened in January 2020 and had 12 male and 12 female participants.
