An international capacity-building training program on ‘Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Modeling for Policy Analysis’ in the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) countries which was organized by IFPRI-South Asia in partnership with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).
This training as an output of the Regional Trade and Agricultural Transformation in the Bay of Bengal countries project. The training was conducted by Professor Rob Davies, Dirk Van Seventer, and Dr. Barun Deb Pal, and was attended by 20 researchers and scientists (14 male, 6 females) from leading think tanks and research institutions in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
