On April 18, 2024, conducted a training workshop on “Ethics of Research with Human Subject” for the staff of the Institute of Economics and System Analysis of Agriculture Development and other institutions under the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Institute of Soil and Agro-chemistry, Institute of Livestock and Pasture, Institute of Gardening and Vineyards, Institute of Veterinary, Institute of Biosafety and Biotechnology etc.) and master level students of Tajik Agrarian University (14 male and 23 female participants). The objective of this workshop was to reinforce and update researchers' knowledge and skills on ethical principles of research with human subjects, assessing, managing and minimizing risks to human subjects of research. During the workshop, the definitions of research, human subjects, process of informed consent, review process of research plans by IRB, considering local context in research were discussed in detail.
