Deboleena Rakshit and Naureen Karachiwala presented ‘Building Pathways Out of Poverty for Ultra-poor IDPs and Vulnerable Host Communities in Baidoa: Evidence from the Endline Survey’ at the Building Pathways out of Poverty in Baidoa Learning Summit in Jan 2025 in Kenya. The presentation highlighted the endline evaluation results of a three-year implementation of an Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) model with internally displaced persons in Baidoa, Somalia. Members of the Somalia central government attended the workshop and engaged with the survey results. The results were also used in developing a future scale-up of a similar UPG intervention.
