The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy Research, Capacity, and Influence (PRCI) and Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System for Asia (ReSAKSS-Asia) are collaborating to develop research and institutional capacity that enhances the ability of local policy research organizations in Asia to conduct high-quality food security policy research and influence food security policy more effectively while becoming increasingly self-reliant. The current focus is on research organizations in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. A bottom-up approach is being used in which these partner institutions are put at the forefront in identifying policy research priorities and capacity strengthening needs through a stakeholder consultation process.
